FBU Dyslexia Awareness Course

The FBU ULF, working in partnership with two Region 3 Fire and Rescue Services, Cleveland and Tyne and Wear, have successfully delivered our Dyslexia Awareness Course to over 70 students.

Courses have taken place in Cleveland and Tyne and Wear with students completing pre and post course work as well as attending a day of course delivery and input from our trained FBU tutors.

Thank you to Ian, Andy, Graham and everyone else involved in the preparation, organisation and delivery of these successful courses.

Learner feedback is very encouraging and includes descriptions of the course from interesting, helpful and worthwhile through to excellent and appropriate.

Other learners have stated about the course:

"It helps create a dyslexia-friendly enviroment", "It will help formulate a Dyslexia policy", "the course used good examples of true life" and "it gave confidence to deal with the issues dyslexic people encounter"

Well done to everyone in Region 3
