In all Brigades in Region 4 we are looking actively to bring new ULRs and Learning Champions on board to improve and sustain our position as the only Union with an accredited Learning Centre with support networks throughout the country. In the past Region 4 has proved a hotbed of learning opportunity and we hope to carry on the good work into 2018

The Government backs ULRs with statutory rights for time off and through the Union Learning Fund (ULF) gives hard cash for learning initiatives in the workplace.
Our Learning Centre Staff and Project Support Organisers can also provide Information, Advice & Guidance to help you make the right decision on accessing new learning opportunities such as our new Autism awareness course which is proving popular going into the 2017/18 academic year. If you are not sure about your first step back into learning or need help making the right decision about your next course or qualification then we can help you; we can also provide information that will help guide you to the right learning provider. In Region Four in 2017/18 we are actively recruiting Union Learning Reps (ULR's,) and Learning Champions for all workplaces to help with the advertising and distribution of learning opportunities and qualifications and we have a particularly strong preferance among applicants in 2017/18 to our Mental Health awareness and Autism awareness course.
